We were able to spay & neuter 17 dogs and 7 cats in the new clinic at Cortez Rescue & Outreach. What a wonderful beginning of the use of our new facility. A Heads Up: the two Shepard type dogs that are just across the street from the Saturday Market and just south of Yoga Garden are MEAN. They have bitten 2 people this past week. They harass bikes and people walking by their house. If you are coming to the Market, playing Pickleball at the Parque or coming to a class at Yoga Garden…Beware!!

I am looking for anyone who witnessed the accident in the Buenos Aires arroyo on Wednesday evening. My wife and I and our dog were driving toward Los Barriles and I slowed to turn down the arroyo toward the beach when a truck driven by a young man decided to pass everyone and side swiped my side by side. I was thrown into the road and injured. The owner of the truck came and ask us not to call the police from La Paz , the local police were there, because he said it would cause problems for everyone. Sad News: It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we inform you of the passing of long-time Spa Buenavista resident, Jerry Hinkey, earlier this week. He died peacefully at his home in Huntington Beach, California. A service will take place on Sunday, November 19th from 1:00-5:00 at the Huntington Beach Elks Lodge, 7711 Talbert Avenue. All are welcome. Rest in peace, Jerry.

I have a Toyota Land Cruiser that needs to be driven to San Diego and delivered to a mechanics shop by Nov 15 or so. Shipping the vehicle is very expensive and I’d rather pay someone who could use the money. The truck has a hydraulic shock and suspension system THAT DOES NOT WORK so the ride will be very bouncy and a bit uncomfortable. A/C is also not working.
