17. The El Cardonal 20th Annual Fishing Tournament was another great success with fun for all and good fishing and a nice day and thank you to all that helped El Cardonal’s Telesecundaria26 School reach their goal to finance this year’s projects.  Sonadora won the marlin prize and Team Potato won the Dorado prize and thanks to both teams for donating some of their winnings back to the school.  No one won the Tuna prize so that money was given to the school.  A special thank you to Clicerio Mercado ad Gonzalo Alamea and their “A” team for their expert help in guiding us to another successful fishing tournament, as well as a special thank you to Cheryl at BPE.       (Compliment accepted!  bpeCheryl)

Known for their striking blue color and silver underside, they drift along the ocean surface upside down, a survival tactic that uses camouflage and gravity to their advantage. However, beauty comes with caution: these sea slugs harbor stinging nematocysts, pilfered from siphonophores, which they use as a formidable defense mechanism. Received a call this morning from a friend who fell victim to an all too frequent scam that is so easy to fall into.  You have trouble with a computer, printer, or any piece of technology and you need help.  So, you “Google” for help with your HP printer. This is where the problem starts.  Generally the first many listings will be paid advertising. Scammers will pay Google a lot of money to appear first in the paid ad rankings.  Now you call the toll free number that you think is HP when in fact it’s a scammer.  The ask for money and access to your computer. Warning!!! Never grant anyone access to your computer, it can only get worse.  What to do?  For example type HP.com and enter.  I use an ad blocker “ublockorigin.com“.  That blocks the bad guys ads.
