  1.   I spoke to the delegation yesterday regarding the water issues and they stated that they have switched the days for water for us on the North end….due to several leaks that require fixing they shut the water off…makes sense. Sad News: Last night at 89+, we said good bye to a very special person, Bill Beekhof of Looney Loop. Surrounded by loved ones, he passed peaceful in the night. Bill was a delight to be around with his easy smile and wonderful sense of humor. Evelin told us the story of how she spent months convincing Bill to come down to Los Barriles after she had visited here the previous winter. He drove down with her, determined to fly back North immediately, but instead he fell in love with this wonderful place and spent the next 30 years here. We will miss you Bill

Below is the schedule for today in Todos Santos. We expect to have the same rough plan for Los Barriles, Buenavista and El Cardonal but have not been given anything official yet. The 2nd shots will be administered tomorrow in Los Barriles Tuesday, April 27th in La Cancha, where the first shots were given. This is all we have to go on right now. The instructions for what ID to bring will be the same as for vaccine #1. Also your paper/receipt you got from the 1st vaccination and bring a water bottle!

  1.   This for all those folks interested in blocking robo calls–AND there’re a lot of them in Mexico.  I think I’ve got around 30 numbers blocked. Buy an AT&T DECT 6.0 cordless phone set; they’re available on Amazon for under $100 (my 2 remote set cost around $65).  Be sure to get a model with caller ID and block call capabilities.  They have two simple ways to block calls.  1)  You answer an incoming call, and determine it’s undesirable.  Just press the BLOCK CALL button, and that phone number is blocked forever (you can manually unblock it later if you determine it’s a good phone number).  2)  Your caller ID shows a missed call, and it’s an undesirable number.  Write the number down, then press the BLOCK CALL button.  Scroll down to the BLOCK LIST line, and press the MENU/SELECT button.  Scroll down to the ADD NEW ENTRY line.  Press the MENU/SELECT button.  Enter the undesirable number. Press MENU/SELECT.  Enter the caller’s name (if unknown, I enter UNK).  Press MENU/SELECT, and the number is blocked.  Works Great!!!!! Ken
