Sad News: Carlos Burgoin, de los caballos.  For those of you that remember him, Carlos rented horses for many years in a corral near the front entrance of Spa. He lived with our family part time during those years, and cared for our house in Spa.  He was my first, and closest friend in Baja. He was Tata to my kids. I will miss him dearly. Dogs and firecrackers, fireworks.  Many dogs become terrified due to the sound of fireworks and firecrackers. Barrel booms especially. New Years, Independence Day, weddings etc, are important celebrations for fireworks in the sky.  However, random cherry  bombs, firecrackers make my dog tremble for up to two hours. Sad News: I am sad to let you know that Bill Ziething passed while in Home Hospice, December 15, 2022.I am comforted in knowing he is at peace and without pain. We enjoyed the Buena Vista-Los Barriles area for 20 years, beginning 1993 first in La Capilla; then building our home in Playa Victoria. Bill was an accomplished fisherman, woodworker, cabinet and furniture maker. He later partnered with my daughter Karen Kennedy to open East Cape Tackle in the late 1990’s. Bill enjoyed many years with our granddaughter, Grace Kennedy – quad rides, games, puzzles, with lots of love. We then were blessed with granddaughter, Krystal Kennedy, who was able to join us for Christmas 2012 and a swim with the dolphins.Baja will forever be in both our hearts. Lyn Ziething
