Quite worrisome because we had read some reports recently in BPE of poison found on side of a road so wanted to alert there might be something happening like this just a half block from Vente de Noviembre.

c.  This dog belongs to a friend of mine.  Pody is looking for a single-dog forever home.  She is a 4 year old, short-haired, wire-coated Border Collie one sturdy dog – smart, loyal, healthy, sweet, funny, loves to hike and play and a real athlete. She is trained in basic behavior and comes and sits to a whistle.
I love this dog and the ONLY reason I’m having to re-home her is that she’s toy aggressive – extremely competitive as is her breeding which is why she needs to be in a single-dog home. She is not people aggressive or dog aggressive. She needs a loving home. contact at elbosque9@gmail.com

However, most of the airlines stop flying animals in cargo in early May.  We rely on Alaska to keep flying our animals northwards – even to Canada. But we need to find escorts willing to make the journey for us. c.  Tonight about 7:40 I heard a noise outside and looked out front of my home in Las Brisas/The Ridge and there were two very dirty and very smelly guys trying to come in my front gate and I asked them what they wanted and they very loudly kept asking for something in Spanish that I didn’t understand. I apologize in Spanish saying I just didn’t understand and told them to go away. The guy went over to my truck and wrote something I didn’t understand on my window and I told them I didn’t understand and to go away. I then went inside and locked my door because I was alone, a female and it was dark. I called a Mexican friend of mine who brought the police (they were very nice and checked my property and the neighborhood), the police and my Mexican friend read what they had written on my vehicle and said they were asking for narcotics/pain medicine. I told my other neighbors and one neighbor said he saw them hitchhiking into Los Brailles from the north. I don’t know who they are or where they are from but people who need/want pain medication that bad are very concerning. The police asked us to notify them if we saw them again.

EVENTS

a.  For surfisherman!  I’m setting up a Pacific beach tour for next week, Wednesday 20^th  to Friday 22^nd. Come and get the opportunity to catch Snook, Curvina, Rooster fish, sierra, snapper, bass and many other species from the beach. Explore beaches that you would never imagine and experience a different type of fishing. We will stay overnight on a camp location with bathrooms, hot water and all the services needed to spend a great time. We will be exploring 20 miles of beach north of La Paz. Join me and learn few new tricks. Tides are going to be perfect for beach fishing.

Schedule: Depart from Los Barriles at 4pm on Wednesday 20^th, we sleep in La Paz (to get closer to camp site). On Thursday 21^st, we leave at 5am to the camp site and fish all morning, we take a break during midday, and fish again at sunset. Friday 22^nd, we fish the morning and depart to Los Barriles afterwards. This tour includes meals ( Thrusday: breakfast, lunch and dinner; Friday breakfast; and drinks are your own), Premium tackle, La Paz hotel room and transportation round trip. This is a minimum of 3 anglers tour. This is tour can be done by amateur surfisherman no problem, I will teach you casting techniques, tackle to use and knots needed for beach fishing. c.  Jane and Bill Perry met with the New Mayor of L.B about the road – Agua de la Costa. Today Jan 28th Rueben Cota owner/operator was running the backho digging out large rocks while the Mayor’s employee and Rueben’s two workers along with Bill were removing the smaller rocks and filling the holes with fill dirt/gravel. The project today cost 6400p more work is needed to finish to the black top road. The Perry’s have paid – Homes and Land of Baja has been kind to offer whoever would like to contribute could come and drop a donation to Kathy in their office. The Mayor said the next grating should make the road a lot smoother. Thanking you in advance for your contribution.
