    1. It is with heavy hearts and much sadness that we announce the passing of our beautiful mare La Perla. Pearl has been a staple in Palo Blanco for 15 years. as well as part of the herd at the Awesome corral, where so many people, especially children have ridden her. To all of those, and to all our neighbors who have walked by and stopped to give her apples or carrots, you have our heartfelt thanks. Rest in Peace Pearl
    2. Long time winter resident, Noel Coghlan, passed away in Santa Rosa Ca. yesterday, Feb.26th. Noel and Connie were Buena Vista residents prior to building their Casa Coghlan in Playa Victoria. Noel will be most remembered as an Irish Tenor whose ‘ Paddy Days’ parties spilled over to an evening of singing and revelry at 3 Dog Corner. Noel will be missed, and long remembered.

    2. The community is invited to the Carnivalito Parade! March 29 at 10:30 a.m., starting at Don Roberto’s. This year’s theme is Western! Parents are invited to bring their children dressed in their favorite cowboy or cowgirl costume and join in the fun. Businesses are also invited to participate by decorating a car, truck, side-by-side, or creating a float. It will be a fun, family-oriented event for the whole community. Organized in cooperation with the Delegación Los Barriles.
    3. Grammy Winning Nashville Songwriters – back again for the 4th great event. Hosted by Palmas De Cortez Hotel. March 7th, 2026. 5:00pm – 9:30pm. Food will be available.
