  3. On December 11, Baja lost yet another old timer. Gene Masciarelli came to Spa Buenavista in the mid ’80s. He founded a property management business, trained and provided work for many locals. Gene was a great raconteur, loved opera, and visited Medellin Columbia most summers to enjoy opera and beautiful women! The last years of Gene’s life were consumed Alzheimer’s disease.
