We want to take a moment to reflect on the amazing impact YOU helped make possible last year: Creative Impact: Over 150 children participated in CMP’s art projects in 2024/25 — that’s over 800 hours of joyful, creative exploration and expression!   2. Hello friends and fellow entrepreneurs of Los Barriles. In my first year at the Rotary Club, I learned that the club is made up of a group of motivated, organized and with a huge heart. We need more local people and I say it’s time for all entrepreneurs who want to help join We are looking for people who want to be part of the solution: people of action, who like to collaborate, give their time and cooperate for the good of our community, aligning with the Rotary values of promoting peace, health and education for all. Come to one of our meetings and see what Rotary is all about. We meet the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays at 9:30 am at Don Roberto’s Restaurant.
  3. Dear Friends of SNAP, We don’t raise the alarm often—but today we need your help. SNAP Los Barriles has an incredible opportunity thanks to a generous donor: every dollar donated will be matched up to $10,000. That means your gift goes twice as far to provide free spay and neuter services for dogs and cats in our communities. Right now, our funds are running low. This matching drive gives us the chance to avoid reducing clinics and continue offering free surgeries to the families and pets who need them most.   2. We are Canadian citizens who reside in LB for the winter. Our bank is Intercam/Kapital. We have a peso acct. Can someone provide information about depositing money into our acct. Are CAD chqs accepted for deposit? Is money being deposited via Wise app? How are people getting money into their accts? Any help or advice will be greatly appreciated. gwenbathgate@gmail.com

  1.  The 10th Annual Taste of East Cape Fundraising Gala to benefit projects of Club Rotario Los Barriles Cabo Este will take place on December 2, 2025 at Laguna Park in beautiful downtown Los Barriles. Our one & only fundraiser (per year) all net proceeds go to fund our projects and events around East Cape. Tickets available on our website.
  2. Lazy Daze Christmas toy drive “No Fuss Garage Sale” will now be at Dodo’s Beach Club on November 10th. As you are cleaning or replacing stuff please remember that we will take your unwanted items. Please have your donated items at Dodo’s by 8:30 day of sale. All proceeds help Santa to deliver toys to the needy. All unsold items go to DIF. Garage sale starts at 9am. Dodo’s will have BBQ grill going. See you on November 10th.
