a. Salud East Cape is a small group of local volunteers who wish to support any person or family who falls ill from COVID-19. Our goal is to kindly encourage isolation by assisting in food delivery, errands, and support for anyone who has tested positive. We offer support during isolation and help to confidentially communicate with any recent contacts to help reduce the spread of disease. We do this with positivity, discretion and without judgement. b. East Cape Health Center Announcement Covid19 has come to the East Cape area. Please remember the simple steps to prevent making this contagion any worse: Mask or face covering/ Social distance/ Avoid crowds/ Wash your hands frequently, use sanitizer. Always be respectful of those who may be infected. It’s a sensitive subject and no one likes to be singled out. It’s not a curse it’s a contagen. But if you are feeling ill and want to be tested we can offer the 2 types testing. Rapid Plasma results in a few minutes, not as reliable as the PCR nasal swab we offer both with test results in 24 hours. IF you are tested and come up positive please have the curtesy of staying home in isolation for at least 2-3 weeks to avoid the spread. It’s up to all of us to turn this around in our community.
