a. Cortez Rescue is only a success because of the volunteers. However, after a very busy summer, we need to get our ducks in a row for the new season. We are looking for one or two people to help out with some basic admin tasks max 3 or 4 hours a week e.g. excel spreadsheets, making lists, social media, escort management as well a few other positions within the core team. Found over 50 new emails in my spam folder! My computer is acting very strange probably because my email folders are full. I’m working on it.
It is with a heavy and saddened heart that we have to say goodbye to a very special and dear friend. Doyle Satterlee, age 93, who passed away peacefully today November 3rd. Doyle was a long time resident of Spa Buena Vista where he lived for more than 20 years. Originally from Madras, Oregon, Doyle owned and managed a successful jewelry business. His son, Mark, and daughter-in-law, Renee live here in La Ribera and Doyle was so happy to have them close by. A kind and beautiful soul who touched so many lives. What a hole he leaves in all of our hearts. He now is with his beloved wife Dee and we know his heart is now full. We miss you.
