  1. Windows 11 is finally ready for public download and is available in most new computers. What’s new? Under the hood it’s pretty much the same as Windows 10 with some shinny chrome and fins (remember the cars in the 50’s). I will wait at least 6 months before I download and install. I like to wait for everyone else to report bugs and for Microsoft to issue at least one update. The other advantage to waiting will be the addition of Android Apps that are currently used on phones. Believe it or not there are some programs that are released only as apps and not available on full operating systems. If you’re buying a new computer with Windows 11 pre installed, it will be fully optimized for your new computer. The biggest change that you will see immediately is the \u201cstart menu\u201d will be in the center. Stay tuned for further developments.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Starlink update. Starlink is the newest satellite internet system using a huge number of low earth satellites providing high speed with low latency and no data caps.  In English:  Fast and very good.   Starlink has just announced a \u201cdensity limit\u201d on all early subscribers. That means there will be a limit to the number of users in a given area. No exact details as yet. Density limits may change as more satellites are put in orbit. Starlink is out of Beta and ready for the public. I did go to the web site, it recognized my address in Los Barriles and said service would be available in 2021.
