a.  Monday, February 24th.  Flag day celebration at Buena Vista Monument.  It starts in the morning at 8ish and ends at 1ish. One of the better cultural events celebrated in our area you should attend.  Folkloric dancing, music, running race and many of our local and state officials on hand for the flag-raising ceremony.  There is plenty of open parking at Teresa’s Tours office just below the monument on the southside and walk up the trail to the monument

b.  Everyone is invited to Carnaval! Everyone loves Carnaval, the biggest street party of the year. This year our annual Los Barriles Carnaval Parade takes place on February 29th. Gather at the Fountain and be prepared to start rolling at 4:30pm. Everyone is welcome and highly decorated children and vehicles of all descriptions are expected to reappear this year. We’ll march from the Fountain to Laguna Park, and gather to award prizes for best costumes and decorated floats. No costume can be too extravagant or too spare – it’s simply about being there. Everyone dances in the street at Carnaval!  Bring your children in disguise, there will be: raffle, t-shirts, and gifts / Disguise your car, bike, tricycle or even your dog! EVERYBODY PARTICIPATES!!

2. Information center
3. Pizza Gourmet
We have been happy to provide free parking for years for the stores and restaurants that aren’t providing parking, but now LB is a lot more crowded. Sometimes it may look like you can just run in and go to other stores for even two minutes but you can’t.
