  1. The RECYCLING Center will be open next Thursday, July 2nd from 0830 – 0930. Please note that due to the heat and fewer recyclers this time of year. RECYCLING will be available for 1 HOUR only! Stay tuned ’til next week’s BPE for further information. Gracias!
  2. The Good Strays Project is seeking sponsors and community partners to support animal rescue efforts in Baja California Sur. Sponsorships help fund adoption programs, foster care, rescue transport, Fly Angels, training, community events, and other initiatives. We are not a shelter; we support rescue centers and independent rescuers through visibility, resources, and community support.
  3. SNAP East Cape (spay, neuter, prevention) is collecting gently used fishing gear, sports equipment, and outdoor items for a community garage sale fundraiser held at start of Fall season. If you have rods, tackle, paddles, snorkel masks, beach gear, or sporting goods you no longer use, please consider donating them. 100% of proceeds will go towards SNAP’s 2026/2027 Community Clinic Program, providing no-cost sterilizations for cats & dogs in East Cape communities.
