  1.  The vet for Cortez Rescue is Dra Maria Fiol Gavarain. She was one of your “kids” from Miraflores. She attended Santiago for high school.  She completed University in 2021 surviving that odd Covid year! She volunteered at every SNAP and LR Soay Neuter Clinic from 2018 to present. She has mentored with Cristobal Cosio MZM since graduating.  She is a good kid, Vinny and I are so proud of her!! She might not be a vet without the support of the Guild.  Kinda cool huh, Joanna

  4. Is there a word for past frustrated? Bold thieves returned to house in spite of security lights and took more parts out of trucks they broke into! Alternators, turbos for the Diesal engines, heavy copper wires that connect batteries. All this in spite of security lights and police reports. Also dumped our planters from front porch (aloe Vera). No idea what they were looking for in the planters. Until local police take it seriously this will continue everywhere! At this rate they will be able to build a whole Diesal engine.   Doubt much help in repeating in Pony Express as it will continue. Dean Ettinger.
