  1. representatives from Club Rotario & the local business community met with the USA Consulate to organize a Consulate Town Hall.  The purpose of the Town Hall is to inform local US Citizen expats of consulate services and provide information on where to seek assistance in the event of an emergency.  I asked for and received information on how US Citizens can vote from overseas.  Here is the website: https://www.fvap.gov.  Stay tuned for more information on the upcoming event, tentatively scheduled for Nov. 22 in Los Barriles.  info@losbarrilesrotaryclub.org

  5. Hey there – Is anyone heading north, driving near LA (on or before Sept 11) that could bring my husband’s birth certificate with you. We will meet you anywhere in Southern California to collect it. He needs it for an appointment with the Border Patrol, on Sept 12 at Otay Mesa, to renew his Sentri pass. We just found out that they will only accept the original. Let me know if you can help and I will have the birth certificate dropped off by a friend who retrieved it for us.
