DISCUSSIONS – ANSWERS – ANNOUNCEMENTS

  1.   Note from the LB Mayor: The garbage collection truck will NOT be running from Wednesday, March 31 to Friday, April 2, resuming work on Monday, April 5th. We apologize for the inconvenience this causes you. Please share.
  2. We would like to thank everyone who participated in the Artist Rendezvous as an artist and those of you that came out and supported the artists.  It was a nice warm day and the artists appreciated the chance to show their work in front of people!  We were able to donate to the East Cape Guild the proceeds from the event and that will support about 2 students for a year of High School!  Special Thanks to Jeff Heintzman who donated his income from the show to the Guild also. – jandcinthebaja@gmail.com
  3. Cattle Drive!  Leonaro, La Capilla, Los Mártires, Buena Vista, Los Barriles,  al Norte. There is a severe shortage of food in the countryside for the cattle. Additionally, the cost of alfalfa has increased considerably this year. We have organized a fund drive to supply ranchers in need with alfalfa and feed for their livestock. A cow usually will eat a half a bale of hay per day. Alfalfa runs about 230 pesos per bale.  It’s expensive. Please make your donación at the office of LB Properties, across from the Smokehouse in Los Barriles. Betto Cota is managing the purchase and distribution of food to ranchers in need.  This is an ongoing effort until it rains!  For that, offer up a prayer!  Questions?  email Dra. Kim Barrett barrettkimberly808@gmail.com
  4. According to the Gringo Gazette News Flash, today is National Taco Day here in Mexico!
