a. Homes and Land parking. For now, we are still providing free parking on the other side of our office for businesses across the street that don’t provide parking for their clients. If that side is full, then please park on the street or down the street to the beach. Even parking on our office side for two minutesleaves our customers unable to get to us. The lot may look open, but fills up fast. Of course, if you are parking for Homes and Land, The Info center, or Campastre Mex restaurant, you are welcome to park on the office side. d. COULD IT BE YOU? ALMA is now working successfully with rescue groups in Calgary, Vancouver and Portland to re-home our wonderful Baja doggies that have been abandoned, injured or neglected. They are truly grateful for their forever homes, and it takes a team to make it happen! We are now looking for a RESCUE GROUP VOLUNTEER who can help liaise with the rescue groups and coordinate with other volunteers to send dogs northward. You don’t need to be based in Los Barriles as everything is done by email (occasionally phone). You will need to have a computer, good organisational skills and be proficient with emails, Word, Excel etc. This is the perfect position for someone who wants to help but maybe travels a lot, or is based in the US or Canada.
