a. Wednesday evening approx 7:30pm, a resident left her casa in Baja Martires just south of Spa for 15 minutes. While she was gone, her casa was broken into, mattresses ripped, drawers dumped. She returned to see 2 men in a dark blue Chrysler/Dodge van leaving her home. The police have been called and are actively searching for the vehicle. Photo is license plate. (Blown up I see 56 are the last two numbers)
b. The star Regulus in the constellation Leo is high in the east around 8pm for a few weeks. The Globe at Night is accepting light pollution reports until April 5, using this constellation. A few more reports from around the Bay of La Ventana would be very helpful, especially since the installation of less polluting street lights here.
