Saturday, November 22nd is the East Cape Guild's Monte Carlo Night,
hosted at Hotel Spa Buena Vista Beach Resort. All proceeds go to the
scholarship fund for our local kids who really need our help.
Encouraging education means reinforcing a positive future for them
and our community. Local ticket sales can be purchased after
November 1st at Baja Beach Company and Baja Homes and Land Office.
More locations and times to follow. I have tickets for sale now.

BEEEE Here is what I recently did to some
bees that decided to live in my kitchen after the hurricane so I
figured I would give them another hurricane. I was invaded by a
colony of bees that wanted my outdoor kitchen for a few days. In
a cabinet. I did not want to kill them and I did not want to
live with them. What I did is gave them some hurricane. I put a
centripetal (squirrel cage) blower fan in front of them blowing
into the crack they were using to enter. I hooked it up to an
extension cord so when I powered it up I was far away and could
watch. And when I powered it up from 30 feet away. I could tell
very quickly they were not enjoying the hurricane, well tropical
force winds. They decided to move somewhere else with a short
period of time, one day. If this works for you please give me
feedback as I post these on a website for others to find
solutions. Since yours is a well-established colony would be

As most
of you know I suffered a stroke in early Sept. that has brought me
into the loving hands of my daughter and son-in-law in Sacramento.
If all goes well - and my recovery has so far been rapid - I will be
engaged with my whale family again for the 2015 season. The battle
to protect these magnificent creatures continues as their migration
routes are despoiled by all manner of pollution, sound, boat strikes
and net entanglements. I intend to continue my work in monitoring
their health, numbers and status as I have for the past 10 years. My
fund raising has however been limited due to my dual medical
emergencies during 2014.

to repair generators but couldn't reach Marcos, he is very good, his
phone number has changed. 624-154-1556. He repaired my generator
very fast during our outage after the hurricane. Do you have problem
with your water or pool pump? He can fix it. I would recommend him
to anyone. Located 50 meters from the old Pemex station, look for

b. We flew in a week ago on Alaska. Our cat
as usual, in her carrier, under the seat in the cabin. No problems
whatsoever. In fact, this is the first time in years they did not
even check our cat for papers...the Airline or MX customs!
