We are looking for the owners of a dog that Ila Buckley was caring for when she passed away. Owners of the other four dogs have been found. The one we are concerned about is an old, female yellow lab. She is limping and having some health issues. She should most likely be on medication, but we have no information. I left three sets of windsurf masts tied to the top of my truck in LaPaz on Wed & while my back was turned someone made off with them. The masts are of very little value, If you see them in a "segundo" (second hand) store in LaPaz or advertised around LaV let me know. If we stick together, we can make it less profitable for people to steal this specialized stuff! The masts are a set of 2x Nolimitz rdm 400 cm, another set of 2x Nolimitz 430 cm, and a set of 2x Chinook sdm 230 cm. They were all in a silver dakine mast bag. The chinook mast base had a long blue epoxy repair running up the side. I'm offering a reward. if anyone has an idea how I can get hold of windsurfers in Los Barriles, could you drop me a line? ROAD REPORT:  From friends traveling with truck and small toy box...."The drive was easy-peasy...border crossing was a snap, even though we had to drive through the X-ray machine and entertain the drug dog. We were thoroughly checked/searched at EVERY security point heading north through Baja. The officers were all very kind and careful with our gear...but it was strange because we have never been searched like that before. Oh well, it was fairly quick each time. If you know anyone who drives and travels with something to hide, tell them to think THREE times!"
