Update on stolen HP Digital Camera- I wanted to let the community
know I finally got my HP camera back a month later, without memory
chip (of course). How I got it back I feel is important to share. I
filed all the right reports with both La Ribera & Los Barriles
Ministrial Policias, even notified Municpal offices. My longtime
friend, Ruth Rundquist was instrumental in actually getting them to
take the reports and file them.. I housed the last Commandante and
his wife ( who is a friend of mine) for 31/2 months. I reached out
to him in his La Paz office as well for help. To my utter
frustration, anger and tears nothing from any Police agency was
done! I heard all the excuses and gossip why . I took my plea to the
streets and locals, I went and talked to those who knew or talked
with suspect(s) offered small monetary reward. I talked to anyone
who would listen and asked for help. The person who took my camera,
called and asked to meet me . I went . I got my camera. I paid no
reward. I offered they declined.
I thanked the thief. One big Community
