Free phone calls to the US from Mexico as well as
free calls within Mexico do exist. However, the calling plan is
somewhat dependent on your level of internet service. The calling
plans also include free calls to cell phones using 044 and 045
prefixes. If you have a Mexican land line but no internet associated
with your service, you will get free calls within Mexico and that's
it. With the lowest level of internet, you get reasonable number of
cell phone calls along with free calls anywhere in Mexico and the
US. (Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico excluded). With the highest
internet service you get just about unlimited everything. OK, I'm
reading that from a couple of Telmex websites and my Spanish isn't
