NOTE: I would like to print only the facts from the horses mouth that are hopefully no more than 24 hours old. Electricity, water, roads, gasoline, internet, telephone, food trucks and supplies in and around the EastCape and health and welfare notices. Also, local photos are much appreciated. I did receive two phone calls from LB today (9/19) There is now a generator at the water pump. Not sure who is able to get water. No electricity yet. Hard line phones work and cell phones work in the arroyos.
Road reports should only be made by the driver or passenger. Let's try to stay away from third-hand information. For road reports, please give the date and location. No details yet, but a friend made it through from Los B to El Rosario on 9/18-9/19)
Need names & locations of banks & ATMs hat are open in La Paz or San Jose
Kathy C's hard line phone is now working if you want a house inspection or have questions about the LB area. Call between 5-6pm 624-141-0530
Poco a poco!

San Ysridio Border Crossing  -  Courtesy of Baja On The Fly Report:
Accustomed to waiting in line for hours, on Wednesday, September 17, 2014, many drivers sailed through the busy border crossing within minutes!  The expanded capacity in the primary inspection lanes means that U.S. Customs and Border Protection, the agency charged with operating the port of entry, now has at its disposal twenty-five (25) rebuilt inspection lanes with total of forty-six (46) booths. And that’s just the beginning: By January 2018, the port is expected to grow to 34 lanes with 63 booths!
