ROAD REPORT - Baja One  from San Diego
The highway is absolutely drivable and overall in excellent shape. There are only half a dozen minor detours for routine maintenance. South of Loreto there was a landslide. We had to wait 45 minutes there as they are working for an hour and then letting traffic pass, then working again. That was the only delay. We called it our adventure down the Emerald Peninsula ... unbelievably beautiful and so so green. Very few Americans anywhere. Please come back!!!    Ann Hazard

Bisbee’s Black & Blue Tournament - October 12th to 25th
Because of the overwhelming response, we've been given the ‘Green Light’ to add 10 more FREE Base Entries into the Bisbee’s Black & Blue Tournament under the Cabo Charter Hook-Up program.  

Just in case you missed this opportunity on the first round, here's how it works:

On a first-come, first-served basis the first 30 teams that agree to hire a local Cabo charter boat crew (the initial 20 free entries have been filled) to fish the Black & Blue will have their $5,000 tournament entry fee paid by an anonymous benefactor whose goal is to get as many Cabo crews working as possible. Full details and sign-up instructions can be found at https://bisbees.catchstat.com/Tournament/Promos, but in a nutshell, the offer is good for the base entry fee only and does not include jackpot entries or any other expenses. It’s open to any anglers who would like to participate, as long as they agree to hire a local charter boat ($800 / day) that will be randomly assigned in a public drawing just before the tournament. 

We’re going to screen the boats to make sure they meet all safety certifications, have tackle and crew and are between 30 and 40 feet in length overall. The boats must commit to the full three days of the B&B. Teams will be responsible for bait, meals and incidentals. If any of the participating Hook-up boats win in any eligible categories, the prize money will be distributed according to the normal tournament rules. 
 

This is a win-win-win situation for everyone. The Bisbee’s Cabo Charter Hook-up offer will provide a positive jolt to the city and THE Bisbee’s to fish.the sport-fishing industry at a time when it’s needed the most. On top of that, anglers who have always dreamed of fishing the Black & Blue will have the chance to do so while helping a good cause. Every time a fee is paid by our generous patron, the prize money increases for the ultimate winners.

So get on-line and get registered if you haven’t already! Now is the time to give back to the Cabo we all love. The recovery is well underway. The hotels, restaurants and now the boats are all ready for you.
