The veggies ladies are now open again as of
yesterday (Sept 30). They are not fully stocked but are going to La
Paz to get fresh fruit and more veggies.

Dra. Gretel has two puppies in cages that badly need
homes. They are six months old and cute. Please find it in your
Heart to adopt. Also she told me that 6 one week old kitties were
dumped on her propery after Odile. They will be ready for their new
homes in about 3 weeks. Gretel is on hwy. one in Los Cuevas. Thank

Hurricane Odile wasn't a storm in
a teacup. I think we all in Los Barriles are very thankful we
weren't in the center of the storm and our thoughts are with the
people in Los Cabos and La Paz who were harder hit. Because of all
the help we got from everywhere, life in Los Barriles gets slowly
but surely back to normal. I will start teaching my classes on the
6th of October in the Dance & Fitness Studio in LB which is still
standing.

We spent the day in La Paz today,
shopping for food and other sundries which we delivered to the Nuevo
Creacion Orphanage. They were severely impacted by Hurricane O. They
need many things but I will list some of them by most important.
4 15" tires...can't use the car
3 buckets of roof sealer...for the dormitory, leaking badly
$ in general, but Roberto the director, needs a plane ticket back
from Mexico City, there being treated for cancer.....
The trailer, and small building that housed the adults and their
families living and working there were wrecked. 2 travel trailers
would really help, any serviceable condition. Anyone who has an
account at Armando's could charge the roof sealer, we will deliver
and apply.
They need blankets and mattresses, clothes and shoes for the 24
children there. Anyone going to La Paz could stop by on the way home
with food or any of these items. Thanks for your consideration.
