As we
were traveling home from Spa Buena Vista I
sustained a dog bite in San Quintin. I am
now taking the series of shots for Rabies.
Our infectious disease Dr. said anyone
traveling to Mexico should receive Rabies
vaccination before entering the country.
This fairly painless “before exposure” vacc.
is certainly a better choice than risking
contracting rabies. Fair warning. unsigned

Goat
dogs.... Have you seen a dog traveling with
a group of goats?? The goat dog
has a job. When that dog was a puppy with
its eyes stilled closed, it was placed with
the goats. When it's eyes opened and as it
grew up, the only thing it has seen and
knows; is the goats. IT thinks it is a goat.
The dog's job is to protect the group of
goats, (or sheep or cows). If the dog does
not do it's job...it could be killed and
replaced. When we befriend the dog with our
big dog loving hearts....it only distracts
the dog from its job. Remember... we have
chosen LB as our home....but understand and
respect the ways of our locals. Keri
