really a good one!

What: "The Hundred-Foot Journey" starring Helen Mirren (she just
received a Golden Globe nomination for Best Actress!!) and tells the
story of a feud between two adjacent restaurants: one operated by a
recently relocated Indian family and the other managed by a
Michelin-starred French chef (Mirren). Produced by Steven Spielberg
and Oprah Winfrey, it is a delightful movie that I bet you will
enjoy! You may place your low-back chairs as early as 5:30. This is
a fundraiser for ECRB and 100% of the money collected goes to fund
recycling efforts and environmental education right here in Los
Barriles. We request a $70 peso (or more is always welcome)
donation. Bring your family & friends, or make it a date night! See

The fashion show was a huge
success with pulling in 8000 pesos.
We want to thank raffle item contributors: Bay View restaurant,
Faylas, Joe's Deli, Blue Wave Health food store, Salon de Cortez,
and Baja Beach company. All together there were 20 raffle items and
thank you to those people that have asked to stay anonymous. And a
big. big thank you to the 33 wonderfully generous ladies that
attended. And lastly thank all the beautiful area ladies that did a
marvelous job of modeling all these new fashions.
