a. We are looking for someone that can do a mosaic tile project at our home in Los Barriles. Must have references. john.kellebrew@comcast.net 

b. We have taken the new toll road to Tecate and crossed. I'm confused about the reference to Otay Mesa. Can you use the same road to get to Otay? And...is there sufficient signage? (answer to the BPE)

c. Need to pay our property taxes while in town, does anyone know if the municipal office in La Ribera accepts credit cards. Thanks sbjs2121@msn.com

(1) Hola Amigos....Solving the "keeping your bank card" problem at any ATM is pretty simple...Only use ATMs that either read your card and give it back (like Banamex in Los Barriles) or use an ATM where you can swipe the card. This is one of the rules of the road anywhere....JA

21-ft. Ford Lazy Daze RV, 1969 model. Runs great--Bought her in '03 for $2400, put just under $7,000 into restoring her cosmetically and mechanically, and know her history. Drove her from Taos down to Todos Santos, where she now lives.
Shower and porta-potty in bathroom, four-burner stove and oven. TONS of storage space, two gas tanks. Can sleep 3 or 4. Solar panel, a 12V battery and a guage for the panel.
She's a wonderful guest house and a perfect place to live while you build.
The Dometic fridge stopped working while a friend lived in her recently. May be only needing to blow out the pipes after crystallization, which someone who knows about those things can do. There's a guy iin San Jose del Cabo who sells and installs new/used Dometics and can diagnose what's needed. Same for her A/C, which worked splendidly until she sat for a season--my mechanic says the hoses become plugged up. The water pump is brand new--needs a new on/off switch, inexpensive and easy to install.
