Just a heads up. Yesterday (Monday the 10th) we made one withdrawal at BANAMEX,                 Los Barriles and were charged twice on our Wells Fargo Account. Our Wells Fargo representative
told us to file a claim - IMMEDIATELY - with Wells Fargo...which we have done. Incidentally, this was the first time we were charged commission (25 pesos)
and IVA (4 pesos). Check your online banks after every withdrawal!

a. Driving north is April we stopped at Guerrero Negro trying to get my FM3 stamped. We were told "only at the border."
We stopped again at the port customs station in Ensenada. When I said we were crossing the border by car they told me also, "only at the border."
However, at the border, there is no convenient way to get to Mexico immigration from the exit lanes.
I've come back into Baja each year without an exit stamp in my FM3 and it hasn't been a problem. Perhaps some raised eyebrows, but not a problem. Also not a problem with FM3 renewal...although I haven't actually seen their eyebrows.

b. The name of the B & B in La Paz is Mas O Menos. They are located near the Elektra store going into La Paz. Call Linda (612 122 9109) for directions. I am sure she would be happy to show you the casita. She is very accommodating. Their rate is $45 per night. jbertroberts@yahoo.com
