Sunday's Art Festival at Rancho Buena Vista will be like none other before. For starters we are running a 50/50 raffle beginning at 9am til 2pm when we will have the drawing!! Imagine the amount tickets that we will be able to sell during that time and exactly how much money $$$$$$$$ you will actually be able to KEEP, yes we said KEEP as your half of the 50/50 raffle. We do not expect you to donate your winnings back. In addition there will be 12 other incredible prizes raffled off for the price of that same ticket after the winning ticket is drawn for the CASH! We even have a fishing trip as one of those prizes you might win.
Make sure you stop by the Asociacion de Artes table to see all of the other prizes you could win. You do not need to be present to win at 2pm...just put your initials and tel number or e-mail on the back of the ticket. This event is brought to you annually by the Asociacion de Artes and all of their supporters and volunteers in the community.

It would appear that Isreal....in Buena Vista.....is no longer interested in repairing ATVs.
I have recently heard about , and used , Manual, who did an oil change ...filter and spark plug.
He also replaced a steering bushing and all parts were supplied by me. Labour was.....300 pesos.
His place of work is on the road to Rancho Leonero....in the ranch just south of the village of La Capilla and just past the turn-off to the Albrights.
Manual and his dad do auto repairs as well. Manual's English is better than my Spanish

CELL PHONE REGISTRATION

a. Regarding registering your cell phone: Only Mexican nationals can register online. It took me 7 minutes yesterday to register my phone at Telcel in Cabo. You need one copy of your passport and the original. After registering it you will get a text message from Telcel stating that it has been registered. Best time to do this to avoid crowds is 8 a.m. Plenty of parking and if you get there right before they open you won’t have to wait in line for hours. Telcel in Cabo is in the little strip shopping center on the right immediately before the Pemex as you are coming into town.

a. Does anyone know of a Mexican auto insurance company that lets you insure less than 1 year, say 60 dyas or so? Vagabundos is 1 year as far as I can tell.
